Introduction: We offer a unique service, there are no middle men or horror stories with us, when you hire me, I do the work, I’ve spent decades learning all the different trades and skills that are required to take a job from planning to completion and I’m very good at what I do. There are not enough words to describe this experience but I will begin with a few; Professional, polite, helpful, experienced fun!. Allen and his crew Alex and Brian were wonderful to work with. Allen wanted to make my home special and custom. His ideas and creativity turned my old dingy house with knotty pine into a custom built home with coffered ceilings and beautiful built in's. His recommendations for specialty services like electrical and plumbing were equally as enjoyable to work with. Because he is affordable my wish list expanded from gutting the house from the laundry room to building a beautiful walk in closet and everything that sat between the two, Kitchen, Dining Room, Living Room. While they were working on the home a storm blew my siding off and they went up on their break and repaired it for me without charge. I wish I could upload pictures to show how beautiful my home turned out. If he posts before and after pictures it is with my blessing.

I rarely leave reviews after working with a contractor because most of the time the experience is not so great and I feel exhausted from the entire ordeal. This situation was very different and definitely required a review specifically because I was blown away by my experience with Allen. We met right away to discuss the job which was basically a complete remodel of my rental property. He gave me an estimate maybe the next day or perhaps later that day (can’t remember exactly but it was not a long wait) and also a rough start date. Every step of the way he was completely available to answer questions, provide feedback, suggestions or information regarding the work. It was refreshing to know that he does not duck or dodge calls, is very honest and open and goes above and beyond to ensure you are satisfied. I was told the work would be done in a month or so but it was done sooner with no left over trash or tools laying around. He took my abandoned, eyesore of a property and turned it into a home. I am completely amazed by his work and professionalism. His contact information is stored in my phone because I will continue to use his company. Without a doubt, I highly recommend Allen because nothing compares to peace of mind when it comes to spending money on an investment or personal property. He is a one stop shop for knowledge, hard work, quality and vision. I promise you will not be disappointed. Also it’s important to note that he does not try to nickel and dime you with his estimate. His prices are totally affordable and not absurd.

We were very pleased with the finished results from this company. I had a leak coming from my siding onto my first floor ceiling. It was dripping through and destroyed the ceiling in that area. I have had several companies out before, and so far AJ Construction has produced results. We have had a couple of small rainy days, and no leak. We haven’t had a major storm since completion. My fingers are crossed, but I am feeling pretty confident. I have other jobs that I am going to look into hiring AJ and his team for. 👍

We are not the cheapest option but we do top quality work.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will make an appointment to come examine your project. (free of course) There I will get the information I need to form a materials list and an idea of how much time will be involved. I will generally contact the customer within 24 hours of the meeting with an estimate and projected finish date.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes I have an associates degree in drafting and design and a bachelor's degree in business, along with over 25 years experience in both residential and construction.
