Chase’s Local Plumbing

Chase’s Local Plumbing gave me a quote to replace a broken pipe site unseen. When I pointed out that I did not feel comfortable with it, he assured me that it was an easy fix and gave me the materials he would use to repair it. That is when I knew that he had no idea what was necessary for my repair and may not have even taken the time to read my message entirely. I have a rusted out 3 inch cast iron sewage pipe (that incidentally my husband temporarily patched with Gorilla tape, Flex Seal, and electric tape). Chase Local Plumbing said he would fix it with a 2 inch PVC pipe. Although PVC is okay to use, fixing my 3 inch DRAIN pipe with a smaller 2 inch pipe would only cause more serious problems. I am replacing my entire drain system (which is what I had planned to have done once the leaking pipe had been repaired). I have gone with a company who actually took the time to come see what they would be getting into. I hope this company learns from this experience. Don’t guess!

NO services rendered for Plumbing service— after on sight quote (2hrs of time for this and an electrical work qoute) the comms simply went dark—- Despite the strong responses in the App, and the original timeliness (there were scheduling challenges related to the workers’ home life) the reschedule of review of scope was managed relatively well.. however after that— quote never provided— contact kept “stringing me along” with “I will send today”,”tonight” “tomorrow,” Monday and then NO response The responses on the APP are promising showing at least a high level of accountability on the customer interface— but follow through is not there—- I have elected to go elsewhere— ultimately no services rendered , after a on sight review (no quote provided) and then effectively ghosted—- Not exactly sure why—- Clearly not a “price point issue (never discussed price) nor an excessively demanding timeline (2.5 weeks) I honestly feel I have been respectful and understanding, and not understanding if this was a personality issue, a scope of work (beyond desire) or other other I’d rather be told — we cannot manage this until or we don’t have the means to accommodate that job or even a “I don’t want to work with you” over a ghosting—- I wanted to be respectful of the time you in es before going elsewhere but— I need to get the job scheduled and priced. Searching for another..
