Besides opening my heart and let out all my frustrations for the first time, Mr. Griffin was very responsive and professional, and he provided me with tools that have been of great help and made me look at my marriage from a different perspective. I thought divorce was my only option, but I am glad I had the courage to seek help from GGCC, LLC.

Prior to meeting with Corlette I wasn't a big believer in counseling, therapy...etc. However after meeting with Corlette my views concerning therapy have completely changed. I believe the understanding manor with which Coreltte handles her sessions has largely contributed to that change of opinion. Several months ago I sought out a counselor/therapist to help my partner and I through difficult times where our communication often broke down, any conflict could easily result in a fight, and we were forced to revisit hurtful events from our past. We were committed to the relationship but certainly needed help moving forward. From the very first conversation, Corlette was non-judgemental, insightful, and provided us with a platform to get beyond our past. She's excellent at listening and letting one air their grievances, yet knowing when to intervene and provide some helpful perspective. She never makes you feel rushed and truly wants you to benefit from each and every session and willingly provides her time to help you do so. She's been a pleasure to work with, great choice here! Mr. Strawder is helping us with Marriage Counselling and has done an excellent job so far. Extremely active listener. Let's you say what is on your mind and reads not just what is said but also body language well. Cuts to the heart of the matter and is not afraid to be upfront and forthcoming even if it is something you do not necessarily want to hear. Has a great location that you feel relaxed and comfortable in to speak your mind and talk. Have only had one session so far and it was a little over one and half hours. Takes the time to get to the heart of the problems and brings about effective change and strategies to help improve the situations as well as move forward in order to work on deeper situations and issues.

My Husband and I decided that we really needed marital counseling to work through some communication issues. We also wanted to get a better understanding of our expectations for one another so that our relationship would get stronger. I took it upon myself to start searching. Amongst a list of criterias that I wanted a counselor to meet, I wanted a God fearing person who could be guided by the spirit. I must say that my Husband and I are both so very blessed to have met Mr. John. He was extremely patient with us. He was not judgemental, but he was honest and he understood what was happening underneath the surface. He allowed us to say our peace, he took notes, he was in tune with what we said, he was very attentive and open minded. We opened with prayer and ended with prayer. When we left, we were both so happy and I felt a sense of calm. I would highly recommend Mr. John to anyone struggling to get through tough issues. I am looking forward to our next visit.

Ombassa Sophera proved to be an outstanding Couselor and Coach in my personal life, and the lives of my family. Recently, when she was visiting Australia, my family and I had an opportunity for family counselling, and parent coaching. Ombassa explored the areas we sometimes take for granted to have a healthy relationship in the family, e.g. communication, love, showing gratitude to one another, being none judgemental and acceptance and appreciating one another as individuals. What impressed me most is her listening skills and her understanding of the family unit and her approach to the dynamics. She went above and beyond by giving each one of us some exercises, on the importance of taking responsibility on how we live our daily lives and the way we share that beautiful life with the family. Each individual felt that he/she was heard and understood, and since then, there has been a lot of happiness in the family, because of our new way of approach to life as a whole. We were all impressed by Ombassa's time management and punctuality, and the beautiful way of following up, our progress. Ombassa Sophera's work is extraordinary, and we as a family and individuals are living that experience with love, joy, peace and laughter. We can't ask for anything better. We feel blessed to have known her.

I initially sought Robyn’s assistance because I wanted help dealing with my two year old twins’ behavior in a more constructive manner. I wanted to eliminate the yelling and punishment approach to discipline, and address our discipline issues in a more respectful and peaceful manner. I also wanted Robyn to help my husband and I get on the same page with our parenting methods. My husband decided that he did not want to participate, and I was unsure how this would work on my own. I spoke with Robyn at length about how/if this could work. She explained that she could help me work on the issues that I wanted to address with the kids, and that while working on these things, she suspected that issues within myself would arise which we could address too. She felt like talking about these different issues would help me be able to model how we should communicate with our kids and then indirectly, my husband would benefit and learn as well. She was right! I have been working with Robyn for four months now and not only have my discipline issues with the kids decreased, we have addressed several of my own issues and she has helped me “lighten my load” as well. She has taught me different ways to approach conversations and situations with the kids and my husband. I had no idea that I had been carrying around so many hurt feelings and beliefs from my own childhood that were affecting my reactions and behaviors – good or bad. I look forward to talking with Robyn at our next session because I know that she is going to be able to help me strategize a peaceful disciplinary solution or help me address a situation with my husband. We are addressing some of my personal feelings and I am able to approach things in a clearer manner since I am able to see why I may react the way I do. Robyn’s approach has definitely helped me to improve my life, my parenting skills, and my marriage.

I sought help from Emma to address some unresolved personal issues that I had experienced throughout my life. As time progressed, the focus shifted from an individual counseling session to a marriage counseling session. My husband and I both found Emma to be authentically caring, insightful, and spiritually grounded. Emma taught us new techniques, which encouraged us to open our hearts and the lines of communication between us. We are eternally grateful to God for how he used Emma to help and heal our marriage.

My wife of four years, and I felt that the romance had disappeared from our marriage. I went to this counselor to seek advise on how to get it back. What I got was guided insight to my true feelings and desires. Once I was comfortable with how I really felt, I no longer needed advice on WHAT to do. She was very gentle and our sessions were comfortable. I felt like I had the friend I needed to lean on, without the judgement & advice that so many wanted to offer. My life is happier, because I have a better handle on what I want & need. Thanks, so much!

About

I will be teaching and training what it really means to be married. If it's marriage counseling, I do it all! Husband and wife are titles. Does it take more than Love or is love enough. Love covers a multitude of things. Therefore, love has to be the elastic that holds all things together. I have a quote: "Love is an action that produces and emotion that causes a reaction." We can help who we are with and the situation they are in if we love them. Honor goes along way both for women and men. From fry cook to CEO. We should love because we are supposed to, not because we want to, yet we should want to love all the time! Love will motivate a man to pick himself up and drive on. Love will remind a woman to be submissive to her husband. If there is no action, there is no love and we become like sounding brass. Love is the beginning and the end of all things. With love you can go from no job to owning your own business. You know, becoming the lender and not the borrower? The woman when taking on the title wife will and should become you foundation to stand on. Make no mistake about it, There is no equality between husband and wife. The fate of the marriage falls on the man or Husband; success and failure. This is why he is the head. If you kill off the head, the body dies. But if you have a suitable helpmate, then you have all that you need; and that is love.
