- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing structure is designed to have an ongoing relationship with my clients. One session or even two might be helpful to a client seeking coaching, but typically transformation starts to happen around the third or fourth session. The client-coach relationship is a special one and enhances the process. Consequently, we usually charge for 6 sessions for new clients.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was in a lucrative but fulfilling career. While on a business trip, I saw an advertisement in a Delta magazine about a career in helping people to resolve conflict and my journey to become a mediator, life coach, and Ombudsperson began that very moment.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure you resonate with the coach's personality and coaching style. Some coaches want to focus on why you are failing, while some focus on the areas in which you are already succeeding (and how to have more success). Be sure to pick the style that conforms better to your view of the world.
