I work with the student to reach his or her goals- We will use the ybrmethod of breathing, functional fitness, work, play, rest and sleep to personalize your path that makes sense for your lives- Each person has a unique story and the body tells it- So we cater to that and find a yogic fitness approach path that works. And by yoga- I mean a loving and balanced approach. This does not mean we only use asana - but that it is the underlying philosophy to wellness. Seeing the progress and... we always do- Seeing the freedom and happiness unfold Is a TRUE benefit of being in this service.

I have had a Wonderful exsperience with Yoga Bear! I am new to Yoga, and Melanie my guide has been Awesome. She has guided me through poses in calm supportive way while teaching me the importance of breath and diffrent breathing exercises and the history behind this wonderful science. I like it because it's not so fast paced like I'm at a aerobic class and I am able to learn in a relaxing environment that fits me. This has been very thearputic in this busy hectic life:) I look forward to what yoga bear retreat has to offer growing and learning more about this awesome science! Mind, Body, Soul ,Thank you Melanie nomasta:)

Melanie is my personal trainer and the best of three different ones I have had. One of her many outstanding qualities is her willingness to tailor my exercise program to fit me, a senior, and my fitness goals. She has exceptional knowledge about human anatomy and applies it in ways that enhance agility, posture, strength, balance, and muscle tone/development. I cannot imagine a more gifted personal trainer and yoga instructor than Melanie. On top of all that, Melanie has a warm, joyful and engaging personality that makes working out with her a delight.

Melanie is great! She really cares to get to know you if you are taking her class and truly loves what she is teaching. She is also helpful with getting you in the right position for the yoga poses and good at explaining everything. I always feel relaxed after a class!
