About
We work with the client. Directly. We don't mislead them, we keep them informed every step of the way. If there is something that doesn't work right, we tell them before it becomes a problem. Drawing plans is always an adventure. Building the house or addition is the next adventure. The two have to be compatible. I draw so that the build is correct and not crazy and unattainable. No one wants a shower that is 2' and no one wants a staircase that goes to no where. We show our drawings in 3D and 2D. Much more visualization than others who just draw lines. And we know ours work. Many have been built.
We work closely with our clients, taking the time to give them a personal experience. Everything we do is customized to the client. Nothing we do is repeated.

It was a great experience working with Real Life Design for the design plans for our large addition. Dana was very knowledgeable about code requirements, and additionally made several great suggestions to the concept that I hadnt even thought of. She made my idea into something that would work in real life. Revisions were taken care of quickly as well. Thank you!!

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Drawings are based on sq ft., basement or crawl, two story or ranch and then details that I find out during my initial interview. Most plans run between 700-1000. Painting is generally per sq ft Door and window install depends on size but they are all roughly the same except for the cost of doors or windows
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always have a face to face interview with them. At least when possible. Sometimes life doesn't allow for that so we have email.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been in the housing industry since 1988. I went back to school in 2008 so I could be credentialed for what I already knew and could do.
