Felicia C. says, "I used Dmitriy to do some handy work such as install light fixture, smoke detectors, thermostat, etc. He realized I was in the process of getting my floors redone from carpet to hardwood. He pitched himself so I told him he could give a quote because I had solicited for others on this site. I told him I had someone in mind but wanted a couple other quotes. He told me he charged $3/sqft while at my home. On the following day, he submitted a quote charging $4/sqft. I asked about it, so he politely decided to change it and resubmitted the quote. I reviewed it and compared it to what I had. I decided to go with a company that has a history of installing floors on a daily basis and has great reviews plus they give a one year warranty on their work. I could see their work. He had no reviews demonstrating flooring. The price was about the same. It made sense. I informed him of this. He respond the next day saying he understood. He also sent two pics of a flooring job incomplete and a laundry room that had wood planks installed on the walls. I told him I still wanted to continue the other work left undone i.e. door install, door knobs, etc. He didn’t respond any more. That’s been a week now. It’s giving he felt entitled to get the flooring job and when I selected someone else, he said screw you. TF is this! 😊 He was a nice guy. Professional until he wasn’t. I am glad he showed me who he is! I definitely don’t want to spend my money with arrogant entitled folks like him. Thank you!"See more
