FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I believe my quotes are unique, I price out all materials I believe are needed and have a breakdown of everything including the price I am paying for them. I give options for finishes but include a basic or job specific material in the quote. I then price out the labor and miscellaneous costs separately so customers have a fully transparent quote.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always require to see the project in person before bidding. Once I take pictures measurements and have a good conversation on what the customer is wanting I then bid the project. I like to give options to let the costumer see that they have control of the project and it’s outcome. I never take full payment until the customer is happy with the final product.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Journeyman Union Carpenter and Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management
