- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I always give a flat rate for my clients based on their coverage time. This helps my clients plan, and leaves no gray area. I do require payment in full on the day of services. For weddings and other catered portraits; I like to sit down or via video chat with the customer to get a better understanding of what they are looking for.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically consult via text or through the app first to make sure we're a good fit. I then ask clients to mark transactions as HIRED in the Thumbtack app. When a formal venue is reserved, and when possible, I like to meet clients prior to event at the venue. I find this helps tremendously in the planning process.
