FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I believe in keeping pricing completely straightforward and stress-free! First off, we don’t charge any hidden fees, travel fees, or surprise costs—what we discuss is what you pay. Because of the time it takes to travel to you, set up our tools, and make sure the job is done right, we do have a minimum service charge of $120, which covers up to 2 hours of work.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to keep things super easy and completely stress-free for you! My main goal is to take things off your plate, not add to it. Here is how we usually work together: 1. Let's Chat: First, you just send me a message with what you need help with. I usually ask my customers to snap a couple of quick pictures of the project. A picture is worth a thousand words and helps me know exactly what tools or parts I need to bring! 2. Clear Pricing & Scheduling: Once I know what we're working on, I’ll give you a clear, honest idea of how much it will cost and how long it should take. If it sounds good to you, we’ll pick a day and time that fits perfectly into your schedule. 3. We Keep You in the Loop: On the day of the job, I will always call you an hour before, or send you a quick text when we are on the way. You'll never be left wondering if or when we are going to show up. 4. Getting the Job Done: When I arrive, I'll introduce myself and put on shoe covers. Then, I get straight to work! 5. The Final Walkthrough: Before we pack up our tools, we’ll do a quick walkthrough together to make sure you are 100% happy with everything. Finally, we clean up our workspace completely. By the time we leave, the only thing left behind is a finished project!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve honestly been fixing things for as long as I can remember! I grew up learning how to use tools, and over the years, I became the go-to “fix-it” guy for my family, friends, and neighbors whenever something broke or needed putting together. The real turning point for me, though, was realizing how incredibly frustrating it is for people to find reliable help around the house. I kept hearing the same horror stories from friends: contractors who wouldn't return phone calls, guys who would show up hours late, or workers who would leave a giant mess behind and do sloppy work. I knew I could do it better. I wanted to create a business that focused on the simple things that seem to be missing these days: showing up on time, doing high-quality work, being honest, and treating people's homes with respect.
