About
Hi, I’m Michael! 👋 Welcome to HomeWorth. As a local, family-run business, we know how tough it can be to find someone you actually trust to come into your home and fix things. My goal is simple: to treat your house with the exact same care and respect I give my own. Getting stuff fixed around the house shouldn't be a headache. Whether you just need a quick repair before guests come over, or you've got a "honey-do" list that's been sitting on the fridge for way too long, I’m here to take it off your plate. A little about us (and why you can relax when we're around!): 👨‍👩‍👧 We’re family-owned. When you hire us, you’re supporting a local family, not a big faceless corporation. 🛡️ We’re totally covered. I want you to have zero worries while we work. We are fully bonded and carry $2,000,000 in liability insurance. 🚫 No random subcontractors. We never pass our jobs off to third parties. When you hire HomeWorth, you get our dedicated, trusted team—every time. How we do things differently: • No surprise bills: We keep our pricing clear, fair, and honest. You’ll know exactly what you're paying for without hidden fees popping up at the end. • We respect your space: We wear shoe covers, put down drop cloths, and actually clean up our mess before we leave. You won't even know we were there! • We actually call you back: We show up on time, return your messages, and explain what we're fixing in plain English (no confusing contractor talk). • Safety first: Everyone on our team is fully background-checked, so you can feel completely comfortable having us in your home. Send me a quick message with what you need help with, and let's get those projects crossed off your list! Talk soon, Michael

My husband and I needed an old outlet replaced, and Michael did a wonderful job. Communication was an absolute breeze from the start. He showed up right on schedule, knew exactly what he was doing, and charged a very fair price. He is such a professional and respectful gentleman. The outlet works perfectly now, and it gives me such peace of mind. Thank you, Michael!"

Michael did a great job. He replaced my ceiling fan, he even picked up a new fan from Home Depot. He was very professional, and we didn't even notice when he finished.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I believe in keeping pricing completely straightforward and stress-free! First off, we don’t charge any hidden fees, travel fees, or surprise costs—what we discuss is what you pay. Because of the time it takes to travel to you, set up our tools, and make sure the job is done right, we do have a minimum service charge of $120, which covers up to 2 hours of work.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I like to keep things super easy and completely stress-free for you! My main goal is to take things off your plate, not add to it. Here is how we usually work together: 1. Let's Chat: First, you just send me a message with what you need help with. I usually ask my customers to snap a couple of quick pictures of the project. A picture is worth a thousand words and helps me know exactly what tools or parts I need to bring! 2. Clear Pricing & Scheduling: Once I know what we're working on, I’ll give you a clear, honest idea of how much it will cost and how long it should take. If it sounds good to you, we’ll pick a day and time that fits perfectly into your schedule. 3. We Keep You in the Loop: On the day of the job, I will always call you an hour before, or send you a quick text when we are on the way. You'll never be left wondering if or when we are going to show up. 4. Getting the Job Done: When I arrive, I'll introduce myself and put on shoe covers. Then, I get straight to work! 5. The Final Walkthrough: Before we pack up our tools, we’ll do a quick walkthrough together to make sure you are 100% happy with everything. Finally, we clean up our workspace completely. By the time we leave, the only thing left behind is a finished project!

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I’ve honestly been fixing things for as long as I can remember! I grew up learning how to use tools, and over the years, I became the go-to “fix-it” guy for my family, friends, and neighbors whenever something broke or needed putting together. The real turning point for me, though, was realizing how incredibly frustrating it is for people to find reliable help around the house. I kept hearing the same horror stories from friends: contractors who wouldn't return phone calls, guys who would show up hours late, or workers who would leave a giant mess behind and do sloppy work. I knew I could do it better. I wanted to create a business that focused on the simple things that seem to be missing these days: showing up on time, doing high-quality work, being honest, and treating people's homes with respect.
