FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common types of jobs I do for my clients is bridal makeup (usually what I consider "natural glam", providing gorgeous curls or waves (hairstyling), and designing and applying out-of-the box makeup looks for performers (circus, dancers, etc.).
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
FOR BRIDES!!!! Schedule a hair/makeup trial well before the wedding date. The trial will give you a chance to see how you will look on your wedding day. The tone, shade and color of the make-up can be varied to accomplish the look that most compliments your features and style, and most importantly to make you feel comfortable and confident. Be prepared the day of your trial. - Have pictures of the way you would like your hair and makeup to look. Also photos of your gown will be of great help. Your dress style and cut, the time of your wedding and the season of the year. This will help you make a better choice in hairstyle and makeup. - When you meet with the professional make sure you explain clearly the colors and styles you have chosen from magazines or pictures. This will give the artist a visual image and point of reference to create your look. - Wear a top similar in color to your wedding dress. Take pictures before and after the trial. By all means, if you are no satisfied with the outcome of the first trial, schedule another. If your first trial did not go as you planned or you did not feel comfortable or sure with the professional, I recommend that you should schedule a trial with another professional. The most important thing is that on your wedding day you feel confident and comfortable with the person who will be making you look your best.
