In-Wall wire concealment is a separate add-on service, and is not included in the tv mounting price. This service includes steps such as drilling wall holes, fishing cabling, materials, and sometimes electrical work that are priced separately, and the service can also be inhibited by fireblocks and the need to span multiple stud channels with wiring. This service can be provided at the time of installation but requires a site evaluation and an additional add-on cost. All wire and cable concealment services are performed with cables, wires and parts furnished by the customer (hdmi cables, optical cables, power wires, etc.). Materials for these services can be provided by the technician but only upon customer request. Fees for materials will apply. &&& TV MOUNTING | FIREPLACE INSTALLATIONS: tv installs for fireplaces with stone facades is not offered. In-Wall wire concealment for fireplace scenarios is limited. A free site evaluation is needed to determine if in-wall wire concealment can be offered for a fireplace installation. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our initial process begins with an inquiry from the customer concerning pricing, availability, etc. This is then followed by a prompt response with the requested information from our staff. If our team needs additional information, we would reply to the customer requesting such information. Note, it is extremely helpful to have make and model number, photos, or website links of products when requesting pricing for installation, assembly or repair. Only after all needed details are obtained can firm price estimates be provided to the customer. Subsequent consultations can be provided to the customer via direct phone conversation or text exchanges to provide any additional information needed to make their decision. When the customer makes the decision to hire us, we then settle on a date and time, and exchange direct contact and location information where service is to be performed. We then provide the world-class service that our customers expect.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My background started in technology. My father was the telephone installation/repair man for my local hometown for over 20 years. Trust me, that was a long time ago. This means that I actually know what a party-line is in telephone terminology, LOL! So, my childhood involved learning basic and advanced concepts of telephone networking. Higher education for me involved introduction to computer and micro-computer technologies at Fort Steilacoom Community College near Tacoma, WA which is now Pierce College. I expanded my knowledge and developed a love of various technologies because I enjoyed understanding how things work. Yes, I was always the curious one. I built my first PC from scratch in 1995 using Windows 95 as the Operating System, and it was an awesome experience for me. Seeing the marriage of hardware and software in a way that would forever change the way we do things was truly amazing. I would continue to be heavily involved in computer hardware/software and networking technologies for the next 25 years. As time progressed and technology and innovation have become more pervasive, penetrating virtually all aspects of our lives, I have expanded the specialties in my portfolio of services to included Smart TV's, Wi-Fi Thermostats, Wi-Fi Routers and Mesh Wi-Fi networks to mention just a few.
