FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is simple, what does it cost to complete the job? Fuel so I can get to the location, where I do charge an additional $25 dollars if your located outside of my 30 miles radius. it cost me $120 to fill up so $30 per 1/4 of a tank. Disposal so I can discard the junk that is being removed. this is where I have an issue with pricing at for customers Don't understand the landfill process. Landfills have minimal flat date that is charge to just come in depending on if you are a resident in the area or which non resident which is always the higher rate. Granted this rate is given per ton(2000 lbs) but say your local landfill starting rate is 55 dollars. that means if I have a bag of trash I'm paying 55 dollars to dispose of that. Understand house trash is different from yard, construction , hazardous waste etc. everything has price and we all see those prices has increased so to drive 36 miles to dispose a 3 piece sectional for 75 dollars, where does that makes sense at. and lastly labor, how much time or man power will it take to successfully complete your project. the best way I can describe this is a full pick up truck load should take no more than a hour. granted if that's just picking up from a location like the garage, side of the road etc. factors that need to be considered how many men would it take to do the job, is there constant traveling back n worth, what are the terrain conditions, stairs, hills mud etc. these are all factors that are considered when pricing a job. so communicate, provide visual aid, and be honest about the job at hand so you can be priced accurate and honestly. For if it's outside your budget, saved both the confusion, debated and frustration.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer a verbal conversation so we both can get a taste of each other's vibe n energy, fully understanding the task at hand and being able to explain everything to a T. where I would ask for visual aid if it's not already provided, I'll ask what routes are need to take to safely complete the job, when are you looking to have this job completed, if there is any dramatic chances that will affect changes in cost. I'll ask what your max budget break down the full details in which I would need to complete this task, come to an agreement or disagreement but end it with you fully becoming knowledgeable of the job as well. Ask what's the best method of payment you prefer, confirm the date and book. I'm all about communication so I will probably bug you with any n every detail that might causes changes to what we agreed to. for I'm a man of word and if changes come about out side of my control I can only keep you informed and updated. but simple blunt direct and honest and just have the same goal as you do, getting the project completed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have actually hands on experience for over 17 years just didn't use it until about 5 years ago. For I always been around it, grow up with mother being a CAD designer/ architect/ civil Engineer. Always been on construction sites and observed. Grew up with the dream to become an Engineer but change path in college just to step out on my own but look where I came back to my foundation.
