Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: We really care. We actually have not been able to expand our business because we are having trouble finding the right kind of people to join our family. We started a tuition free school out of our warehouse. It's nice to be teaching again and providing a great moving service at the same time.

We made our first move with Hewes Family Movers when they were a start up company. We liked the equitable way they did the pricing and went with them. They were prompt, courteous and efficient! And we did not incur any surprise charges. We then used a smaller crew to move my mom's collectibles a couple of years later and found the same excellent service. The pricing was still good, though others were both lower and higher estimates, they were once again very accurate--and very careful with some of her antique items. We have since moved some smaller items, pool table and some things to storage. It is such a pleasure to deal with Bill Hewes, who is courteous and helpful. The crew reflected this attitude and they worked steadily and carefully. Great company, fair pricing, and with lots of experience!

Bill and his staff could not have been any nicer, they did a great job. My move could not have been any easier. I would recommend Hewes family movers to everyone. If you're looking for a dependable & bonded moving company look no further.

We moved from one home in Alpharetta to another. Trailers were used, not trucks. Initially, I thought the crew was great, but as everyone knows moving is hectic and you are very busy. We had multiple pieces of furniture damaged by the movers. Pieces of furniture that they took apart were never put back together and pieces are missing. Pieces like mirror anchors and shelf brackets. Glass shelves broken and wood cracked or snapped. They asked for the key to our cedar chest to empty it after we were told to leave it full and "lost" the key, or never returned it. When I left to go pick up food for them and my wife was attending to our 2 month old, they put items in the garage that needed to go into the house and then once I returned with the food, they took it and left leaving only a couple of guys that said they too would return to finish putting items back together. No one returned. The owner claims to make himself available, but as a busy professional, I made attempts at contacting him during business hours and had to leave messages. my one conversation addressing this was meet with complaints from him about the travel distance, size job it was and how he was losing money on it. He was to return my call about the items listed above. I have not heard from him. I would not use them to shovel out my barn let alone touch my belongings again.

The Hewes' crew did a Great job moving a pool table for me. Even better, they did it with me still in North Carolina. The pool table was being moved from Zebulon, GA to Eatonton, GA. they arrived when they said they would and It took them less than four hours to move the table from one location to the next. They knew exactly what they were doing when it came to disassembling the pool table. The pool table belonged to my grand-dad and is of sentimental value to me and they treated it as such. i would highly recommend them for your next move! Thank you so much. Gayle
