I once had a customer whose production lne was down, call at 2am and needing a motor, the vendor was located 4 hours away. I made sure he was back up and operational first thing in morning by picking it up and delivering myself. I take business needs seriously, and my customers always appreciated my honesty, if I didn't have things in stock, i'd find locally who did and let my customers know, I never lost a customer in 11 years! I've been working since 1973, I am not ready to retire, however, I've learned that despite my experience, being 59 yrs old to some potential employers is a liability. I've done much better at lending my wealth of business knowledge than being hired for it
