- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Rates, for a single person, range from $32-$50, per hour, depending on your commitment. I offer bulk discounts for my 3 Session, 5 Session, 10 Session and 20 Session packages. There are also discounts for multiple people and small groups. Please reach out to me, for more details, on pricing.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Well, since I don't have my own facility, basketball players need to have access to a hoop. Fitness clients can train at the park or at home. I always like to start off the first session with a pre-session interview, just to make sure we're on the same page and working towards the same goals. Once that's done, I always like to start each session with a warm-up to get the blood flowing. I believe stretching is the most important thing you can do, for your body, as an athlete. It helps to get the most out of your muscles while both enhancing performance and preventing injuries, so we'll start with some static stretches, then dynamic stretches. Early sessions will then focus on speed, agility and explosiveness, with general drills that are specifically catered to the needs of the individual or group. This will help prepare for session plans with sport specific and position specific drills. I use my evaluation of the first few sessions to help me customize a plan for the development of each client. At the more advanced stages of training, I will start to implement the football specific drills that I've learned and created from my many stops as a player and coach. These drills will help to improve skills and techniques such as route running, blocking, catching, covering, etc.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I played football (DB, RB, WR, KR, PR), basketball (PG, SG, SF) and ran track (100m, 110m High Hurdles, 200m, 400m, 440m Hurdles, 4 x 100m Relay, Sprint Medley Relay, 4 x 50m High Hurdle Relay, 4 x 400m Relay, High Jump and Long Jump), all at the varsity level in high school (Linden High School, Linden, NJ). I earned a scholarship to attend and play football (CB) at Bucknell University (Lewisburg, PA) in the Patriot League (Division 1, FCS).
