I have well over 20 years basketball experience whether it’s plying they game, coaching the game or training. I started Kiwane Garris Basketball Training to provide a quality basketball training services for beginners, intermediate and pro players to enhance their skills.
I love seeing the progress of the players I train. Giving them the proper knowledge and skills to apply to their game and seeing them make their aau, elementary team, high school team or pro teams is the reason I provide basketball training.

I appreciate Coach Garris for taking the time to meet with my son and I on a Sunday afternoon. It was a pleasure watching them work together. I saw him evaluate my son's skillset, correct his habits, and then, witnessed the results of his advice all within one hour. My son is already looking forward to many more sessions, and what they will bring.

I'm very impressed with both Coach Garris and Coach Rob. I really like the repetition in the drills that they do. I can already tell that Jacob is getting more comfortable with using his left hand. I've also recommended them to some parents on Jacob's rec league basketball team.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I usually custom my prices based on what the student-athlete need, but I try to keep it affordable so they can come as many times as needed. For example, if I charge $45 an hour for sessions, I will make an affordable package deal like $350 for 10 sessions. They will still get the quality of work for an affordable cost.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will let them come sit in on a training session so they can see what I do. We can talk about what we can do all day long put for me I want the customer to be ready to sign up based on them liking the workout and how I train.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Sports Management Degree from the University of Illinois, a USA Youth Basketball Developmental License and Georgia Coaches Certificate.
