- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There is a consultation fee, It can range anywhere from $19.00 to $39.00 depending on the location, day of the week or weekend, or if it is during normal business or after hours, but this is always waived if the customer moves forward with the repairs. Every repair or installation is discussed thoroughly with the customer before we begin, there are never any hidden fees. Garage door replacement estimates take place on site, at the customers home and are always free. Garage door opener replacements can be given over the phone and are also free.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We always do a full 25 point inspection on every job in order to asses the condition of every customer garage door and garage door opener and we always discuss the condition of the customers garage and give recommendations prior to getting started so that there is never any confusion about what is being done and exactly what it will cost. Communication is the key. Giving each customer the best professional advise available is a must.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received my professional training from one of the best in the business while working at one of the larger outfits here in the Atlanta area. I have been in the industry now since 2014 and have refined my skills over the years. I always enjoy sharing this knowledge with the customer to help educate them about their garage doors and openers. This way they can be more aware about what is happening in their garage and can potentially be a bit more proactive when it comes to maintaining their garage rather than being reactive and waiting until it is too late. Doing this can save them money in the long run and I believe my customers appreciate that.
