These folks do shady work. I paid for walls and cabinets to be painted, he only painted the walls and trim and cleaned 🧼 the cabinets he didn’t paint them and I paid $400. In my laundry room he rushed that job and the walls are half painted. His wife Karla Torres is his secretary, she said her husband would be back to correct the job but he never showed back up and now she’s not answering two days later 🤦🏽‍♀️.Do not booked these people, they shady. Also while he was here his work truck was repoed.

Torres Painting came last week, gave me an estimate, and said they could start Saturday or Monday. We agreed Monday 10am. Monday morning comes, and they tell me their truck broke down and asked if they can come Tuesday at 10am. I felt bad for them and agreed. Tuesday morning comes, and they tell me their truck still isn’t working and it will now be Friday morning before they can come. So we agreed they would be here 9:30am this morning (Friday). They even confirmed yesterday afternoon (day before the job) they would be here. You guessed it, no show this morning (3rd attempt we allowed them to schedule). Even worse— not even an email or Thunbtack message this time. We reached out, and no response. Since Monday, I had already moved furniture around and taken everything off walls waiting for them. On top of it, we had an out of town guest staying in one of the rooms last night— so we had to kick our guest out early this morning to accommodate the painters THIRD rescheduled date. And then they just don’t show up this morning or reach out at all. Even sketchier—they have a brand new review from YESTERDAY on here, so it looks like they just got a better paying opportunity they put before mine and strung me around all week, along with putting me out with my efforts to make it easier on them by moving stuff around our house.
