Hired on Thumbtack
Wow! Talk about wasting someone's time. The owner reached out to me about a job. Worried that I would be late, I called her an hour early to let her know I was going to the store but should be back by the time she arrived. I got back home in time for our scheduled 12:30 appointment. She never showed. I called her at 1:30 pm she said she was waiting on me to get home! I had been home the entire time but placed a courtesy call just in case she arrived and I had no returned. At worst I would have been pulling in behind her and made it clear that I would be home by the time she got there. 2:30 pm arrived and she said she was ten minutes away! 3 pm came and she still wasn't there. I left my home after waiting for this "professional" for 3 HOURS. From my cameras it looked like she arrived 3:30 pm! Absolutely ridiculous. A ten minute drive turned into an hours wait. I will never deal with this "professional" again and was appalled by the lack of care she displayed towards her customers.
