- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes my pricing system is as follows: Depending on the complexity of Individual returns, Married filing separate and Qualifying Widower returns, the prices range from $175-$300 depending on the complexity of the returns. Head of Household (dependents) or Married Filing Joint are between $300.00-$450.00 depending on the complexity of the returns; Amended Returns are $50.00 per year.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually meet new clients at a Starbucks that is convenient for them or by phone (if working remotely). While meeting with new and current clients, the typical tax interview may last for 2-3hrs. I like to get to know my clients so that I can ease their fears of using a non-traditional tax preparer and to also let them know that I'm here to help them.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am IRS Certified AFSP participant and I used to work for H&R Block for 5yrs before starting my own business.
