Introduction
I'm a luxury, visual storyteller who began his design journey in high school. As a painter, I learned the artistic value of lines, shapes, colors, textures, and much more. In college, I transitioned into graphic design, learning how to use computer software to edit, enhance, and create impressive imagery.
One day, as I went through a family photo album, I remember recalling memories and emotions that were essentially "frozen in time." I wanted to continue to capture my travel adventures and be able to share those moments and experiences later on in life.
Then, I noticed I began seeing the world differently through the camera lens. One of my best friends and I discussed photography as a passion of mine. She encouraged me to, "Take the leap!" Just like that, the spark was lit.

Working with Donovan and the Carpe Diem Design Studio team was an awesome experience! They are all such nice and pleasant people, as well as skilled. I gifted my younger sister and her fiance (now husband) a photography and videography package with Donovan. I loved that the photos in his portfolio were crisp and vibrant. When I reached out, he quickly responded and made the entire process extremely simple. I didn't have to be the middle man between my sister and the company, however, he kept in contact with us both.
As always, weddings can get hectic and there are always last-minute changes but his team handled every issue we had with grace, patience, and understanding. He really knows what he's doing when we're outside taking pictures in 85-degree weather and that's a good thing because we didn't melt!
My sister accidentally broke the strap on her dress as she was getting dressed. When he came in to take pictures, he was able to lend her a safety pin - he literally save the day! He was able to get pictures back to us very fast and they looked amazing. Everyone in the wedding party, as well as the family, agreed that the pictures were out of this world! The team captured so many memorable events during the wedding - and even the rehearsal dinner. The entire wedding party loved him and kept calling him by name because they wanted him to take a photo.
I have another younger sister and I'm already planning on gifting her a photography and videography package with Donovan. It's rare to receive a wonderful over-the-top experience in today's world, but that's what Donovan has done. I would have paid double the cost because he offers so much value. It's all about the experience and they know how to make the day more special than it already is. Book with him, you won't ever be disappointed!
