Sam was very quicky to respond and gave me a fair quote, but he quickly asked for advances for materials and unfortunately the final price ended up substantially higher than his original estimate. Additionally the work was completed in two weeks instead of one weekend which was the original representation. I would not give him a negative review as the work was finally completed in good order, and sadly it is not uncommon for contractors to take an too many jobs at the time and fail to meet deadlines. However, I would advise other customers not to advance them any funds until the job is completely done to make sure that there are no additional unexpected charges and that the job is completed in a timely fashion.
