Kris responded to my inquiry immediately and we met the next day. She has reams of information on dog training. She was incredibly patient with my 2 cavapoo puppies! 💯 positive with great innovative ideas. My pups are steadily progressing thanks to Kris!!

I learned a lot from my session with Family Dog Training. The trainer was able to get by 6-month puppy to follow her commands right away and showed us several techniques to use to practice with her. She had a lot of really helpful hand-outs and written materials so I didn't have to take notes-- very professionally done. I found her to be knowledgeable and clearly experienced. We are having our puppy spayed in a couple weeks but I can see us hiring her again. I can't recommend her highly enough.

I hired and fired another trainer for being too tough on my little puppy. Kris is so gentle and uses positive reinforcement rather than aggressive correction to train dogs. She speaks dog. Her patience is legendary ( I recognize this because I have none) and that patience is what helps her to achieve amazing results. She is training me as much as she is training my puppy! Hire Kris, you wont. be disappointed!"

Kris has been great with teaching my 4 month old puppy the basics such as sit, down, lay and loose leash walking. She also gives out incredibly helpful handouts to supplement training. My pup is incredibly responsive to Kris and 10/10 recommend her.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Each private session is 60 minutes priced at $95 for one session or $275 for a package of three sessions. A mileage fee will be added if over 10 miles from 30068 zip code.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Clients are asked to fill out a questionnaire about the dog and the family which is reviewed at the first session.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over twelve years of training dogs with clients and over ten years as a certified volunteer handler working with a service dog organization based in Metro Atlanta. I obtained certification with FitPaws, Wagit, and Bond Based Choice Teaching. I'm also a former high school teacher and have a Masters in education. I retired from IBM after a long sales management career.
