Introduction: Training: I can help with puppy training, basic cues, leave it, loose leash walking, emergency recall and some behavior issues. My goal is to help you understand how to "speak dog". Dog training is mostly "human training with a dog". Let me help you learn to better understand your dog, work with you to teach them basic manners, help understand behavior issues and develop a plan to help. I have trained over 160 dogs in group classed, individual sessions and in a shelter environment. Training in different environments has helped me become more understanding of clients and of various behavior concerns. I would love to help, whether you just brought home a fluffy new puppy, newly rescued a lucky dog, want to brush up on some things, or have concerns. Reach out and we can discuss your goals. Nature Dogz is licensed, bonded, insured and pet first aid certified. I am a certified dog trainer, having earned my CPDT-KA certification in February 2022. I have also received certification from the Grisha Stewart academy for Behavior Adjustment Training. I hope to work with you and your best friend soon!

Lisa took care of my two dogs for a week, coming to my home for four visits per day, which included daily walks. I appreciated the daily visit updates and photos she sent that assured me my pups were in good hands. Not only did she take great care of them, she watered my outdoor hanging plants and took out the garbage can on collection day without me even asking. She was a pleasure to work with and it was a much better experience for my dogs to remain in the comfort of their home versus boarding. And it turns out, better economically for me as well. I highly recommend Lisa and will most definitely ask her to take care of my dogs again next time I travel. Thanks Lisa!!

Lisa was great with our King Charles Cavalier. We were out of town for the first time in 2 years and little nervous of our over anxious dog. Lisa came in for a meet and greet and got to know all of our dogs needs. She was great with him during the time we were out and made him very comfortable. She sent updates and pics daily to keep us informed. Would highly recommend her to everyone and will surely use her services again.

Lisa cared for our four dogs and home while we went on vacation and I couldn’t have more positive things to say about our experience in working with her. She was extremely kind and responsive in our initial interactions and I felt so comfortable leaving everything in her care. Lisa did a fantastic job taking care of our dogs! From our initial meeting to checking up when we returned she was great. We got updates after every visit so we knew how the dogs were doing. Handled different medicines and routines with no problem. Only problem we had is that the dogs got so much attention I think they missed Lisa once we returned 😄. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer training for basic obedience, life skills, behavior issues and puppy training. The individual session fee is $75.00, and packages are available. Please contact me to talk about a plan.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will do an intake call to discuss your goals, concerns and expectations. If we agree it will be a good fit, then we will set up a date for our first session. Prior to the first session, I will email you an intake form, contract and any questions that would better help me develop a plan. If at any point, either party can terminate the agreement. Training relies on consistency, practice and patience. Results are not guaranteed without those.
