Mr. Baynes has been a contractor for me for numerous projects in my home. The scope and nature of the project work included entire interior and exterior painting of a 6800 sq. ft. home, deck restoration and painting, siding replacement, new construction of sunroom, power washing of house exterior and driveways, new appliance installations, wall and ceiling replacement after major water damage, carpet installation, tile refinishing in the bath area, painting of exterior rod iron fence and gates and widow re-sealing and re-glazing. While home improvement projects are inherently stressful for almost any homeowner, Mr. Baynes’s services as a contractor were invaluable, and I have been extremely pleased with the final result. Specifically, I would give Mr. Baynes top marks in the following areas: 1. Quality of work performed. The quality of work done was consistently. Mr. Baynes was knowledgeable, skilled, and competent in his respective trades. He was conscientious about all of the project specifications, and his work product rarely needed improvement or revision. 2. Quality of work. Mr. Baynes was professional, reliable, courteous, and respectful of my property and privacy. He had an old school work ethic (often 10-hour days, some Saturdays), good work habits, strong safety orientation, and emphasized getting the job done right rather than doing it fast. His pride in his work was evident. He tidied up at the end of each workday. I also found him to be trustworthy, and felt comfortable with allowing him access inside my home. 3. Project management and coordination. Mr. Baynes’s prior experience working in construction really paid off. He was knowledgeable about all aspects of my projects, and was able to plan, coordinate and manage the activities, effectively. 4. Integrity and professionalism. Throughout the projects, I was impressed with Mr. Baynes’s commitment to generating a top quality product, rather than maximizing his profit margin. 5. Effective communication. Mr. Baynes kept me closely informed of work schedules, delivery dates, and projected completion dates of different phases of the projects. His communication was always clear, informative, and helpful. 6. Flexibility and effectiveness in dealing with unexpected developments. When unforeseen problems surfaced (e.g., water damage behind a wall; he worked diligently with me to identify solutions that was acceptable to me. 7. Responsiveness to my needs and concerns. Mr. Baynes’s commitment to my satisfaction was evident in his actions. 8. Truth in advertising. In his proposal, Mr. Baynes gave a clear breakdown of costs for each facet of the projects. His contract was just as detailed in describing the work to be done and the itemized costs. When the project was completed, all the work was done as described and agreed upon, and there were no hidden costs, extra expenses or unpleasant surprises. As a homeowner and customer, I felt Ms. Baynes delivered exactly what he had promised, at the agreed upon price.

They were a pleasure to have around working on the project. It was a good size project with roofing, siding, other exterior work and interior work, i.e. painting, ceiling repairs, door installations and etc. They stayed busy until it was time to clean-up and quit for the day. No up-sell and honest. We will definitely hire them again. I Highly recommend.

I contacted Grizzly Home Services to build a custom trim around my Front Entry Door, making it appear heavier, wider and taller. William (business owner) accomplished this easily, professionally, works tirelessly, obviously highly skilled and has all the necessary tools for any job. Also installed wider casing on the interior side and replace shoe-moulding with better suited base-moulding that match existing interior. What’s most impressive though is that he went to great lengths to make sure I was completely satisfied with his work. Skilled professional with a conscious, in an environment these days where that’s all too often NOT the case. Great experience for me and I can recommend to you with confidence. In other words I got what I paid for, quality work, affordable price, done by a good guy. I’ll post before and after pics.

Arthur and his team are very professional and good at what they do. He has changed all the lighting in my home and tile work in the bath. Arthur will be painting the interior and installing hardwood within the next six months. I have referred Arthur to friends who are just as pleased with his work. It is so nice to know that I have a dependable handyman.

I hired Bob to install a couple doors and to do some miscellaneous repairs. His cost was a little bit higher than another contractor but I'm very glad that I chose him! The work turned out great and he was a super nice guy. Cleaned up everything and took it with him. He even aligned a few cabinet doors for free because he said he couldn't stand to see crooked cabinet doors. I will definitely have more work for Bob in the future.

The good: Price was about 700 cheaper than budget blinds for 1.5in faux wood blinds. Blinds were ordered, delivered and installed within 2 weeks. The mediocre: The blind for my laundry room did not get ordered. When it came in, it was the wrong size. All in all I had to wait about 3-4 weeks to get the one for the laundry room. Upon close inspection, it looked like the factory where these came from (ABC Blinds) didn't have sharp enough equipment to cut the blinds because there were little chips on the edges of 3 of them. This wasn't really a big deal since you can't see it unless you're really close. I called Ron about this, and he ordered me some slats to replace the chipped ones at no cost. All in all, I think the price was great and the blinds look good now that I have the chipped slats replaced.Ron was responsive and he got me what I needed to be a satisfied customer.
