I have enjoyed dancing most of my life in the styles of ballet, jazz, tap, modern, contemporary, hip-hop, and have recently performed Hula and Samba with Dance Brasil. I currently work full time as a Physical Therapist Assistant, which gives me a deeper understanding of how the body moves and heals from injury.
I danced professionally with the Georgia Ballet and have always had a passion for teaching.
I am a certified American Ballet Theatre teacher who has successfully completed the ABT Teacher Training Intensive in Pre-Primary to level 3 of the ABT National Training Curriculum.
I have a positive energy and promote positive thinking in my clients, and I feel that everybody can benefit from the lessons in dance and learning healthy ways to move.

My fiancé and I spent one hour with Kim and left feeling so much more confident going into our first dance for our wedding! Kim helped us understand the basics, and we were able to build onto that throughout our session. She helped us understand the counts, and when to incorporate “bigger moves” so that we could continue to practice and choreograph our dance at home. She was so great and knowledgable and so much fun to work with! We will definitely be schedule a few more sessions with her before our big day!

Kim was a wonderful instructor! She helped choreograph our dance for our wedding. We had no experience at all and she was patient. She even wrote down the moves and recorded the dance so we could practice on our own. I highly recommend!

Kim is awesome! She really patiently worked with me and my fiancé to really dance! Her personality is perfect for a dance instructor, patient and calm and she really focused on what we need to learn how to dance “together”. She choreographed our dance. I just told her the song and the kind of dance we have in mind. Without Kim left to our own devices we were just planning to sway from side to side for 2 mins for our first dance. But not anymore thanks 😊 to Kim! She taught us patiently to waltz. And help to make out first dance as husband and wife memorable. Our wedding is on June and we started our classes January. We have ample time to really know our steps by heart and practice with her. We are planning to do additional classes after our first 5 just to make sure we will be ready by June. Take note we really dont know how to dance from the get go. Now we can waltz and do some twirls!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
15% off available for 5 sessions, 20% off for 10
If travel is required, $10 extra for the Atlanta Metro area.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I get to know what my customers wish to gain from the sessions and work hard to provide a positive experience. I explain each combination of movements verbally and demonstrate alongside my students to ensure that they understand how to move properly. If needed I can video the student so they can practice in between sessions. I can also edit music if needed for events.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been trained in all styles of dance by master teachers in Florida, Pittsburgh, Boston, New York and Atlanta and performed professionally with the Georgia Ballet, Dance Canvas, and Paideia Dance Theatre. I've taught for over 20 years and continue to train in Yoga, Pilates, and Dance. I'm a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant with Resurgens Orthopaedics.
