How the process works: You will contact me with your project and we will clarify any details without getting into actual content. I will sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement stating that I absolutely will not share any of the content you are granting me access to, nor claim any of your original content as my own. I will assess the size of your project and present you with a fee, half of which is payable up front as a deposit against the completed project. Depending on the length of the project, I will send you updated invoices to keep you apprised of ongoing work. I will additionally set up a regular schedule for review of converted content for your review, revision, and editing. A rough version of your completed project will be sent to you. Upon your final approval, the remainder of the fee will be paid.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I make sure I am up to date on the latest Chicago Manual of Style for business and academic formatting purposes. Also, with the influx of e-readers on the market, I keep myself educated on formatting content for all of them. Of course I make sure that my word processing and script writing software is upgraded.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been writing creatively since I was twelve. I pursued my passion in college and beyond. When I discovered that not just newspapers need individuals with writing skills, I was thrilled beyond belief!
