- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For standard click-n-lock vinyl plank/laminate I charge $2.75 per square foot. Nail down hardwood starts at $3.50 psf and glue down hardwood at $4 psf. I also do stairs and risers upon request starting at $75 per step as well as flush-mount vent installation.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always ask about goals first. Every other choice is going to stem from that.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was taking college classes when I received a call from a friend. His neighbor needed help with a job. Turns out I was good at it. 2 years apprenticing under him and I started my own LLC (2014), and it’s been a passion of mine ever since.
