I started training with Doc on one-on-one training, and this morning was my 5th session, and I'm sweating out toxin and slowly building strength and muscle. He concentrates on all your concerns and needs, and also makes sure that you don't overdo your body since you can easily get injured if you overdo it. I would definitely recommend Doc to any of my friends or family if they are in need of PT! =) I am so looking for that bikini bod and just can't wait!~
David is an outstanding personal trainer. I did a tremendous amount of research and "interviews" with other potential trainers before deciding to team up with David. The first thing that I liked above his offering was the private studio. I had not worked out in a LONG time and I was self-conscious about working out in front of other people. Secondly, every other trainer I talked to tried to sell me supplements on the first phone call. This is a big turn off. Lastly, I could tell David was an intelligent guy and was not your run of the mill trainer. My experience over the last 4 months has reinforced my initial instinct. David is an articulate, intelligent and thoughtful guy which makes for an incredible training experience. He genially listens to your goals and designs the program for you. You will not do the same thing the person before or after you did-- the program is specific to your goals. He also pushes you without seeming like a drill sergeant. Within three months my body fat % went from 25+% to less than 12%. I feel better than I ever have and for the first time in my life I am hooked on exercise and improving my overall fitness. I initially committed to 3 months of intense training and was going to try and transition to working out on my own after that time period. David was in full support of this plan and at 3 months I was in a position where I could have successfully started training on my own. However, I genially enjoy working out with David so much that I have decided to continue on 3x a week with him. I am looking forward to pushing my fitness to the next level and would highly recommend David. If you are thinking about working out with a trainer you owe it to yourself to talk to David.
I am truly enjoying these work outs. Trina and Angela are awesome trainers!! They are very careful with me since I've had a couple of surgeries! Never thought I would like enjoy exercise!

When I moved back home from college in 2008, I was on a mission to lose the "freshman 15" that never went away. I joined the local YMCA and began taking any and all fitness classes they offered. By the time 2009 came around, I still hadn't shed those pounds like I'd planned to. I lacked the motivation and drive to get it done. I was ready to call it quits and accept my weight gain as just another part of life. It was around that time that Joanie asked me and a few others to try a new class she was testing out that was jam packed with high intensity cardio. There is no way I would've made it through that class without Joanie's motivation. I realized that she was the motivation and drive I needed to get in shape. From then on, I made it a point to attend as many of her classes as I could and within 2 months I was down 20 pounds and in the best shape I've ever been. With her encouragement and guidance, I was able to maintain my weight loss and fitness level. Fast forward to 2012 - I found out I was pregnant in March 2012. I took full advantage of pregnancy and gained a total of 75 pounds. Lucky for me, Joanie started a bootcamp clinic soon after I delivered. I knew that if she was capable of helping me back in 2009, she was my only hope of getting back in shape after such a large weight gain. Boy, did she have her work cut out for her! Bootcamp began and eight 6-week sessions later, the 75 pounds was gone! Joanie spent numerous hours each week preparing our workouts to suit our fitness goals while tailoring them to fit each person's fitness level. I've never met anyone so dedicated to others' health. Joanie is an honest person who will get you the results you're looking for. I'm convinced that if it were not for Joanie, my weight loss and fitness goals would've taken much longer and not near as enjoyable. Her motivation, kind heart send sense of humor are just what is needed after a long day at work. She has a seemingly endless menu of exercise routines and caring style that makes you look forward to exercising. I have yet to meet another fitness instructor, personal trainer or fitness guru as motivating and challenging has Joanie!
Thanks Thumbtack for finding me a trainer like Richard. Secondly thanks richard for training me and making sure I get back in shape. I have seen club trainers, but Richard is exceptional. He is a true professional, always on time, his facility (where we train) is very clean, dedicated to meet your goals. Richard, it has been a pleasure to have a fitness trainer like you. I have lost 6 pounds so far, been in good shape and would like to drop some more pounds in the coming months.
V is probably one of the best trainers you can get in Atlanta, especially for the price. You can schedule workouts from 30 minutes to an hour (depending on your skill level, not how much you want to do in one day), and V will meet with you once or multiple times a week. I'm 25 years old and have a generally good BMI, but I recently moved back to Atlanta and needed someone to help me get back into shape, stay cognizant of my fitness, and set new goals for myself. In the ten weeks (once a week workouts) I've worked with V, I've gained more endurance and seen increases in strength. V will push you from the beginning, but the workouts are varied and V will never make you do anything you absolutely can't do. When you're having trouble, he will recommend ways to make the exercise more doable, and always encourages you to keep going. His workouts are usually based in quick circuits, and will always work out a few different muscle groups. Also, V is a very knowledgeable trainer and can tell you anything you want to know about working out on your own, eating right, and generally staying healthy. I would highly recommend V to anyone else, for his skill-set, for the price of the sessions, and for the efficiency in half-an-hour. I'm moving up to twice a week sessions and will be with V for the foreseeable future.
AAP was a great experience! I joined AAP to get in shape for my beach wedding. In 4 months they were able to help me change my whole body! I went from 147 pounds to 135! I went from having 24% body fat to 13%! I am 5'8" and was wearing size 10 jeans and now I wear a 4! They not only help you exercise in the gym they teach you about nutrition and diet. Ashley takes you on healthy shopping trips that teach you about the healthy, clean foods you should be eating! She is continuously motivating you through emails, videos, and Facebook messages. Getting in shape is hard work but You will not get bored of your diet or routine with AAP, they make fitness exciting! They have a fantastic new gym and great trainers. They offer Fit Camps so you can exercise with them almost every day, no excuses! If you are looking for a place that really cares about you getting healthy and not just making money call AAP! I was able to completely change my body in 4 months! I am happier and have so much more energy! I finally feel like I have the body that I want and deserve. They helped me feel my best on my wedding day and I am so grateful!
Alex is a fantastic trainer. I am in my early twenties, and I started working with Alex about year ago, meeting three times a week, for several months. He got me into the best shape I have ever been in. I was able to put on muscle incredibly quickly, and he helped me transform my body. More importantly, he was dedicated, thoughtful, kind, knowledgeable, and experienced. I have trained with other trainers before, and they always seem to be missing at least one of those components. Alex has the full package. Alex takes his job very seriously, and his dedication shines through. He was never too pushy, but always struck the exact balance needed to motivate myself. I also think this is a rare technique for a trainer to possess, and Alex has it. I had to stop training for a little while because of school, but when I resumed with Alex he picked up right where we left off. He was adaptive to my requests, and very accessible. All in all, I would highly recommend Alex without reservation, both as trainer or for a management position. He is passionate about his work, and that passion translates into successful clients of all ages. Regardless of what you are looking for, look no further. Alex is your guy.
Brian is passionate about his craft and even more passionate about his clients. I've trained with many trainers but he, along with the other amazing men of I Can Fitness, guarantee results as long as you are willing to put in the work. He pushes you beyond what you think are you limits and you leave there with so much power and enthusiasm and anticipation for the next class. He's funny as hell and makes light of those moments when you just want to choke him. Lol!
Jean is an excellent trainer. He challenges me to push myself. He is unconventional in his training. He uses tree trunk his uncle"s scuba diving belt and park bench as training equipment. He is a passionate trainer and we butt heads but he wins most of the time. I'm stronger and fitter since I started training with Jean. Now, if I just eat like him I'll be at my optimum weight.

The two instructors at Thunder Kickboxing have more experience and expertise than all of the personal trainers, local gym class personnel, or strip mall karate schools I've ever been to combined. After 10 years and my countless deviations to other trainers and fighting styles they've always been there and I've always come back...and been glad I did so. It was a pleasure working with Carlos. He does push you to do your best to help you meet your goals. He will encourage you when you are feeling like you can do it anymore. Gene is absolutely amazing!!!!! I started training for my first bikini competition with another person and they just were leading me in confusing directions and was not 100% supportive. I eventually turn to Gene to help me get on the right track to be successful in my competition. He was able to correct my diet which I believe was the secret weapon for me winning my first competition. Going forward I will use no one other than Gene for personal training, diet, and competition prep!

outstanding training professional he helped me hit my fitness goals in less then 6 months. I went from post baby weight and stubborn fat in my midsection to literally a 6 pack all in less than 6 months. What can I say? Words cannot express how thankful I am for having Guy in my life as a friend and a trainer. He encourages me to be the best that I can be and better. I have had trainers in the past, but never someone that met me where I am and worked with me to push myself further. There is no negativity when it comes to Guy. He has taught us to work as a team. With this, I have learned to eat better, I welcome challenges not only when I work out but in life. I feel great! My body, mind and soul is being nourished.
