- What types of customers have you worked with?
I perform highly entertaining magic shows for adults, family and children's audiences. The shows feature hilarious comedy, amazing magic, music, and audience participation. Upon request, I can include funny puppet skits featuring professionally made puppet characters like Claudia the Hippo or Petey the Possum. I also am an expert balloon twister, who can make everything from the classic dogs and swords to amazing hats, space aliens, flowers and even a guitar that really plays music! When I twist for a festival or other big event, the line is the longest of any at the event! People will stand in line for a long time to get one of these balloon creations!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When looking for a magician or balloon twister for your big event, don't just buy based on price alone. Ask for and check references. Find out if there are events where the performer is asked to come back year after year. I always say that it's good to be invited, but it's GREAT to be invited back! Always compare references on a couple of different performers. One may get a good reference for their job, but after you talk to someone else's references, you may discover a much more enthusiastic satisfied customer. Look for credentials like membership in local magic clubs, number of years as a performer, and if they specialize in events like yours. Be wary of anyone who says they can entertain all ages and in all situations. The best magician for preschoolers may NOT be the best for a corporate event, and vice versa.
