Welcome to MerJewel Swim Academy. I’ve loved the water my whole life and bring that same passion to every lesson. As a longtime educator in English/Language Arts and a professional swim instructor, I specialize in helping swimmers of all ages feel safe, confident, and excited in the water. From my early days on the high school swim team through earning my lifeguard certification, I’ve built a strong foundation in both water safety and effective teaching. I’m CPR/First Aid certified and offer patient, encouraging instruction tailored to each individual swimmer. Our swim instructor Jewel was just as described. She was a magical mermaid in the water with the kids. My children loved her right off and she had them swimming by the third lesson. She has the cutest floating turtle called Smyrtle that she has with her for rewarding swims. She has a whole bag of interactive and fun swimming aides. She is just wonderful. I recommended her with 5 stars!!! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🫶🏽❤️🏊
