I picked Fred to help me with computer issues based on the 5-star reviews for him on Thumbtack. Actually, I didn't read all the reviews (several hundred) but I did read a lot and everyone ranked him with 5 stars. When I reached out to Fred on a Saturday afternoon, he got in touch with me right away. Check the box for responsiveness -- highly responsive! I had two issues - one was wanting to use ethernet cables from the AT&T router to my laptop and turn off the Wi-Fi through my house. Second issue - My previous laptop was infected with malware and I needed to retrieve important documents and files without turning the computer on. Fred said he'd come over the next day on Sunday, which he did. Besides being very professional, Fred is a really nice, likeable person. He first removed the hard drive from the older laptop and used my current laptop to open it up. He successfully transferred all the files. Next thing he reset the router and laptop settings to shut down the Wi-Fi. He gave me exactly what I asked for at a reasonable price. You can't go wrong hiring Fred. He is hard working and very ethical. Thank you, Fred!
