FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I believe in satisfied customers who are treated with fairness, honesty, and respect. I charge based on the project or word, depending on the type of editing, and I give discounts to repeat customers. I do both copy editing and substantive editing. I can coach you as a writer or do straight-up editing.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will communicate with you in setting clear goals and listen to your concerns and questions. Then, we will customize a game plan that will help you achieve those goals, adapting as we go along. Everyone's editing project is different, so we'll assess your unique situation in considering your needs and creating a game plan that meets those needs.
