Elva came over to meet me soooo last minute! It was the night before I left. She wanted to meet the kitties and see where all their food and toys were. She kept the litter box clean and also sent pics of my boys. They were very happy when I got home, even though I'd been gone 10 days. Def use her again!

Elva exceeded my expectations. She came to meet my dogs before taking the job, asked questions and even provided a form for me to write out the specifics for my furry kids. She took pictures every day so that I could see my pups were well taken care of.

Elva came to my rescue at the last minute, walking my dog and tending my cat through the Thanksgiving holiday. She had a positive attitude in her daily reports to me, and my critters were happy and healthy upon my return.

Elva Bautista has done a great job with our dog. He is a big 3 year old pit bull mix with a lot of energy and she keeps him happy with walks and attention on the days we can't be home all day. He loves when she comes over; my boyfriend and wonder if our dog thinks Elva is his fairy godmother because she shows up when we are not home and treats him to a good time on otherwise boring days for him. Great job Elva- we will definitely keep using your services!

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I'm available and easy to work with, and I'm available for last-minute requests. Since your furry companion still needs exercise and affection when life hits you with surprises, or you want a last-minute getaway, I am happy to adapt to YOUR schedule. That said, I offer a 15% discount for longer-term pet-sitting jobs.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Animal Care Specialist- U.S. Army Reserves

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Your dog needs daily exercise in order to stay both physically and mentally healthy...and if your schedule doesn't allow you to regularly hit the trail with your pup, you may need to hire a dog walker. However, this isn't a decision to make lightly: who you choose to walk your dog matters. Anybody can advertise themselves as a dog walker, but that doesn't mean they have the experience or set-up necessary to keep your dog safe and happy. A couple ideas to ensure that your dog walker is well-qualified and a good match with your pup are: ask for recommendations; invite candidates to meet your dog(s); and request that they show you where they will walk your dog, and how many dogs they walk at one time. I also suggest asking them about their background and experience.
