FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
First session is free, regardless of subject matter. Pricing depends on subject matter and difficulty level.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All the time. There are many on-line resources offered by NASA and other academic institutions that allow me access to the latest results and discoveries in astronomy, physics and mathematics which I then incorporate into my own presentations.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was lucky to have a competent science teacher in high school who encouraged my interest in astronomy (and mathematics). In my first year of college, I literally stumbled into the calculus class of (unknown to me then) of a master teacher. He knew his subject by heart and brooked no self pity or excuses. He held all his students to a high standard and devoted his life to teaching. I was inspired by their examples and completed my advanced degrees (Master's and PhD), knowing that I could try to emulate their examples.
