Introduction: My work stands apart from other photographers based on several things. A strong background in art and design allows me to provide excellent framing and unique looks. Years of field experience in shooting a variety of different subjects has also given me an edge and prepares me for anything to happen. I also crave getting the perfect photo, either it be candid or posed. The amazing opportunity to share intimate experiences with others while doing what I love to do. Travel is also wonderful thing that photography provides and supplies me with valuable life and shooting experience.

The experience over all was absolutely great. Kurt was a great tutor, very friendly, and very casual about the review. However, the only thing that could be worked on a little bit is the arrival of the pictures. It was frustrating for my mom and I after waiting 3 weeks before getting the images. It was great that Kurt had them done before the deadline, but it would've been better for us if they were done a couple weeks ago. The only other thing that could be noted is the arrival of the pictures. My mom was very frustrated with working with the website, due to the GUI of it and the confusion of picking the pictures for use. However, part of it is also that my mom isn't extremely tech savvy. Thank you for the amazing work you've done! I am quite pleased!

Kurt was wonderful! He was very receptive to all our requests while adding in his artistic flare. He is brilliant with light and never misses an opportunity to get the perfect shot, even if it requires jumping in a lake or river... The end result was a beautiful collection of pictures that captured our day perfectly! Thank you Kurt!

Kurt took our engagement photos and will be our wedding photographer as well. He did an amazing job of interpreting what we wanted our photos to be (which was incredible because I couldn't even describe what I wanted). He took the time to get to know us and our personalities and captured that beautifully in his photos. I also loved that Kurt took a lot of candid photos and not awkwardly posed pictures. My fiance, who especially hates taking pictures, even had a great time! Loved our session, LOVE our photos, and love Kurt.

Not only is Kurt professional, friendly, and AMAZING at his job, he goes above and beyond to get the most amazing shots. He will make you feel at ease, and comfortable in your surroundings. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is not complicated but I want to make sure that all the details are figured out and explained so I don't leave you with any questions in your mind. I prefer to get to know my clients before I even pick up my camera. The images that we create are about you and getting to know you is a priority. Once we meet we can go over all the details of pricing.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly reading and staying updated with all sorts of different areas of my profession. Blogs from other professional photographers are very inspiring, keeps me always wanting to learn more.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Shooting my entire life never really led me to think of doing it professionally until I started working by shooting weddings. I instantly fell in love with that line of work and continue to shoot weddings to this day.
