- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Absolutely! We are fanatics about education. We attend every event we can, offering education relevant to our field. I teach at a local college and have taught in the past at Rockwell Collins in Cedar Rapids. I created You Tube videos for educational purposes on boilers.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
After seven years of college, and then working as a drug abuse counselor and treatment provider, I went to work as a Linn County Probation Officer. I missed the 'hands on' work with tools though. I returned to the plumbing industry and the trade I learned in the U.S. Navy Seabees.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Faucet repair and replacement. Sump pumps of all types. Water heaters and boilers of all types and sizes. Piping repairs, fixture repair/replacement, drain cleaning, inspections, drain camera and jetting. Bathroom remodeling. Furnace and air conditioning tune ups, repair, and replacement. Anything having to do with water.
