- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
As a contractor, I get better pricing than most of the general public, so what I try to do is pass on those savings to the customer. I don’t make a monster margin on my material. Where I make my income is with the labor that’s why my prices can be lower than others.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically reach out with a phone call or a text message. I’ll try to set up a time but I can come and see the job site. And during my initial phone call I ask what their project is going to entail. They do put some particulars in their message, but not enough for me to judge what I’m getting into. That’s why I ask what the job entails when I call.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelors degree in construction management
