- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It's complicated or confusing. We measure square footage and figure time and materials. It only takes a short time to measure, we use laser tapes which speed up the process. After that we provide a itemized quote so the client knows each room costs and has the option of eliminating something if it doesn't fit their budget. We can customize each quote based on the customers needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We meet regularly with our Sherwin Williams district representative to discuss any thing new in the paint business. We are members of the Quad City Builders and Remodlers and are consistantly getting information from them.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
We have been in the real estate business for many years and seeing the transformation we have done over the years, mostly the impact of painting, it was a natural transition. We new this was something we liked to do and had a vision of how to offer great customer service experience.
