We are very happy with the work completed by Top Flite. We had them finish our basement. They built bulkheads, put up drywall, textured, trimmed and painted. Part way through the process we we so impressed with their work we added a wainscoting and built-in bookshelf as well. They did an amazing job of communicating and we definitely will have them do additional projects in the future.

On New Years morning, I awoke to what appeared to be frozen water pipes serving the kitchen sink. I was somewhat anxious to have the problem addressed and remedied. I called several plumbers whom I had observed providing service to neighbors in the past. I was informed by each that there were anywhere from six to ten calls ahead of mine. Their trip charge would be $80.00 and the hourly rate would be $180.00/ hour plus parts and that I'd have to provide a credit card number prior to their arrival which wouldn't be until the next day. I found a site on the computer called Thumbtack. I found T&J Handyman Services and called them with my problem. They were finishing another job and would be right over. Terry and his wife Jessica arrived and assessed the problem. I secured their services and it was an excellent decision on my part. Without reciting everything that this professional duo performed to fix the problem, they got water service to the sink. The problem was more than frozen pipes. The kitchen faucet screen was blocked by tiny black beads blocking water flow. In addition the pipe in the basement was being affected by a cold air draft along the block wall where it met the wood of the walls. They closed the space with insulating foam, wrapped the pipes with electrical heat tape for 16 ft. of the pipe bordering the south basement wall, wrapped that with foam insulation piping and at my direction, a thermostat to turn on the tape at 50 degrees Fahrenheit. They also installed a barrier on the back wall under the sink as they observed cold air. When they finished, their charge was more than fair and far less than the plumbing bill would have been for travel and one hour of work by the professional plumbing companies with whom I'd spoken. They will also be doing other work for me i.e. sanding and painting replacement pickets for my fence, repairing a roof leak and installing camera's and lights around my property and house as well as other general services that might be required. I like their one stop for all my needs. Finally, Terry and Jessica are wonderfully warm and honest people that I wouldn't hesitate to call my friends.
