This is the second time I have hired these guys & I will hire them again when I need help. Sam & Dylan did a fantastic job. They take care of the large items they are moving & get a lot done in the time they have.

I originally started filling out an online quote request but didn't finish after realizing I would need to provide my own truck. UniMovers reached out the very next day to see if I had questions, which I really appreciated.My move ended up being very last-minute, and they were able to help the very next day. Even with the short notice, they offered flexible scheduling and arrived right on time. The two movers were friendly, professional, and worked efficiently to move boxes, totes, and other items from my basement to a storage unit. They were careful with my belongings and made the whole process stress-free.The price was very reasonable for two movers for two hours, especially compared to other companies I had reached out to. Great communication, great service, and great value. I would definitely use UniMovers Des Moines again and highly recommend them!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our standard rate is $60 per mover, per hour.
You can see whether your move has a travel fee on our website under the Travel Fee Calculator section of our Rates tab.
That's it! We pride ourselves on saying NO to stair fees, weight fees, or any other hidden fee bigger companies might offer.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, we'll discuss the location, contents, and preferred date/time for your move. Once you're ready, we'll direct you to our booking form. We'll double check the form with you and make sure we don't have any additional questions before sending the booking out to our crew. You can expect to hear final confirmation less than 24 hours after sending the booking out.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our movers are vetted through interviews and are instructed on best practices for safe, efficient, and damage-free moving. They are further trained on the job by the company owner until he's confident in their ability to carry out independent moves with confidence, responsibility, and an eye towards the safety of your belongings.
