This was my first Thumbtack project and Joshua replied to my request for a quote almost immediately. He was able to swing by my house and provide a quote on the spot and then was able to schedule a time to take care of our trees (and gutters) just a couple of days later. They trimmed the trees up, making them look great, and hauled the branches away. Joshua stopped out at the house a couple of days later when I discovered we still had a clogged downspout but he was super responsive and took care of it right away.

Joshua and his crew removed two big walnut trees from our backyard, and we couldn't be happier. They showed up on time and wasted no time getting to work, were fair in their price, and left us with a clean yard. We plan on hiring them again and would definitely recommend them to anyone.

I hired Josh to trim up three trees on a home we just purchased that had not been maintained. He did an excellent job trimming and shaping the trees. I appreciated that he cleaned up and hauled it all away. I would hire him again for future tree trimming.

Josh was prompt in his response whenever I contacted him. He showed up on time with proof of insurance that I had requested. He took down a difficult tree (it was several years dead and surrounded by other large trees and hanging over neighbor's shed/property) quickly and safely, and trimmed a few other trees in the backyard. He did all this climbing rather than requiring a bucket truck, like most other professionals and at a better price. I would/will hire him again and have recommended him to others.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is based off of how long I think the job will take me and the cost of equipment on the job. Fortunately for the customer I have low over head so my prices reflect that.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've studied arboriculture and have been trained by certified arborists sand master arborists.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Do your own research to make sure the company you are hiring knows what they're talking about.
