This is the worst company I’ve hired to perform work at our house thus far. We hired them to paint our living room, foyer, upstairs landing, and all ceilings. They were to also repair & texture drywall where needed. When we scheduled this company to come out and do a quote, Eric was a no call, no show. We understand things happen but sometimes this can be a sign for how professional or lack there of their company will be. Sadly for us, we did not pay attention to this sign. We were told this would be a 4 day job. It turned into 7 days. They were consistently late. I’m not talking about 15 or 45 minutes late. When we were told they would be here around 8:00. They would eventually show up anytime between 10:30-3:15, definitely not punctual. Having summer activities to attend caused this to be very frustrating. We were forced to leave our house unlocked if we wanted them to work. We later found out that they were painting at a different location. After scheduling and partially paying in advance, we apparently were a subsequent job for this company. When painters did show up they had no idea what work needed to be done. We had to explain what was to be painted everyday. There appeared to be lack of leadership. On another note, there were a few drywall spots we needed fixed which we were told “we won’t have time.” This was unprofessional and caused by they their tardiness. This was eventually fixed. The painters were also very messy. We found multiple paint drips/drywall compound on the floor, shelves, doors, blinds, and trim of the house. I understand there will be SOME mess, but not this much! I question how they could be this messy even after covering everything with plastic. Out of the 7 days, twice painters did asked if they could have a broom or vacuum to clean up. Other days we were left with a disaster. We were told it washed off with water, which it did, but it took us over 2 hours to clean up all the spots. We were offered to have their cleaning service come to the house which we did accept. On the day they were to arrive, we had to cancel. Big surprise, they were going to be 2 hours late. One 2 occasions I stated what sheen of painted was to be used. The wrong sheen was purchased and applied. We had to point out multiple spots they missed. These issues were all fixed. I was impressed by one ceiling patch that was done from a wall I removed. Some of the other patches were ok; I wondered if they were done by the same person. This company lacks respect for personal property. For whatever reason our air conditioning unit was turned down to 63 degrees when we leave it at 70. An employee also admitted to us that he lit off some fireworks we had. Who does that as a guest in a persons home? I question if they went through any personal belongings of ours. They used a few of my 6 gallon buckets to mix their compound in. Granted, I get the buckets for free, but it is courteous to ask before using. There was trash left all over our property. The plastic they use to cover furniture was left in our yard and ended up in one of the pastures. I also found a paint roller in the pasture that animals are in. They left big globs of drywall compound on our property as well. It was as if our place was a dump. To conclude I would not recommend this company to paint your home for the reasons stated above.Jul 22, 2018Verified
