- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All projects are on a custom pricing seeing that each space is unique. My standard design consult is $65 an hour. Initial Consultations are $250 for a 1-2 hour design session in which a written report is given to the client.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I first talk with the client to get a perspective of the project. From there I meet with the client at the home or project and evaluate what design elements need to take place. I give a written report of design concept and pricing for the project.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have two degrees in design and 25+ years in the industry. My husband and I had our own construction company for over 30 years in commercial and residential building. Alushia Fitzgerald, my designer has a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design from Harrington College of Design in Chicago, IL in 2005. After interning with a boutique interior design firm in Chicago she worked for one of Chicago's leading condominium developers where she created and staged condos and commercial spaces.
