I gave a 5 star review of this company after they installed a back door. However, there is a large enough gap between the inside of the door and the floor that pebbles have gotten in there. Shorty tried to tell me what I should do to remedy the situation. He told me that the job would include leaving the door “finished”. I consider closing the gap to be part of the job. I am trying to get him to do the remaining work. He probably will do it since I am insisting, but I shouldn’t have had to argue about it. Also, I hired him to do some minor drywall work, some small areas of knockdown, and painting the bedroom ceiling. He sub-contracted it. The person who did the drywall and knockdown was in a hurry; the knockdown treatment was not done well. I also had to go back and forth with Shorty via text; I felt that he was arguing with me again. I would still hire him and specify that he (and a helper, if needed) does the work. I gave both him and his helper $100 tips for the door install, so I am not happy at the stress of having to argue.
