Barbie O. says, "ALL I CAN SAY IS . . . WOW! We had several small projects that needed to be done. I can't say enough about Hunter and Dalton (two brothers, one a General Contractor and the other a Sub Contractor). Their responsiveness was incredible. They came out and talked about three projects, and we added a fourth. They were very flexible. We had french doors removed in our dining room (doors removed and the frame needed to be redone to look like doors were never there), a larger mantle made and installed, moulding put around a post on our kitchen island (our puppy had chewed it) and a cabinet alteration to fit our new larger cook top. Professional, skilled, knowledgable and well priced . . . not to mention they left our home immaculate. They are returning to build a pergola for our backyard. Can't say enough about these two, so happy we found them. Great for small or large projects. Highest recommendation."See more

Brent B. says, "Jim is our go-to-guy for all of our carpentry projects. He has worked for us or several projects, including: Custom game table. The table Jim built for us is a work of art! It has a top that we can use for board games, as well as a built in TV that we can watch, or use for maps in table top role playing games! It has dice holders, cup holders, electrical outlets, the works! We couldn't be more happy with Jim's work, but we are also very satisfied with his fair prices, professional work ethic and the obvious pride he puts into his projects. Root cellar: The restoration of our root cellar was the third project Jim has done for us. I was actually a little nervous to call Jim, because root cellars are increasingly rare, and I really had no clue what we needed. But, my wife loves the idea of having a root cellar, and the old one was falling apart, so I needed help from someone. Jim responded the same way he did on our first two projects, with a “can do” attitude and a matching work ethic. He designed a new cellar frame for us, complete with a sloped and shingled roof, a lifting trap door, siding, ventilation and repaired masonry. He also took into account the deck which we would eventually be building over the top of it. The work was completed on time and on budget, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Needless to say, we will be asking Jim to put in a bid our new deck as well. Deck: Our deck is the fourth project with Jim, and by far the largest. We had drawn up some plans and had a good idea of what we wanted. However when we showed the plans around, several contractors tried to make big changes, saying that it would be too complex and expensive, or that we should make changes that would make the deck easier to build. We even had one guy try to sell us on taking out the lower deck and replacing it with elevated landscaping! Yes, that guy was in the landscape business. However when we showed the plans to Jim he responded, as always, by putting together a plan to accomplish what we wanted not what was easier for him. As the project progressed, Jim brought great ideas to the table to make the deck better, and relentlessly drove the project to completion. He is very dedicated to the quality of his work. At the end of the project, the City Inspector said that it was one of the most solid and well constructed decks he had ever seen. Jim also handed suppliers, managed the return of some extra materials, and just generally made sure that the deck of our dreams was built solid as a rock. We couldn’t be happier, and the results speak for themselves. One funny anecdote about the project. One day my 16 year old son was helping Jim move some lumber around in our garage. My son accidentally dropped a stack of wood, and it landed on our scoop shovel and broke it. It wasn’t a big deal at all, but Jim insisted on replacing the shovel at his expense, even though it was my son who broke it! He said “it was damaged on my job, so it’s my responsibility.” Personally, I don’t really think it was... but that shows you the level of ownership Jim takes on his projects."See more
