Introduction: When it comes to making a positive shift towards a healthier lifestyle, initially, it can be very overwhelming. Figuring out where to start and what you should be doing is tough! We are surrounded by so many things that offer us that instant gratification. The hard pill to swallow is, being healthier, exercising and changing your habits and behaviors are not on that list. Lame... I know... 😫 but that’s where I come in, give me the chance to be your health and fitness facilitator. I’ve been a personal trainer for over 10 years now. I give 100% of my knowledge and attention to each session. My reviews speak volumes on how I conduct myself and the quality of training that I provide. I go through new certifications each year to make sure that I can provide the best possible service to my clients. I specialize in corrective exercise, to get your body moving like it should. Stretching isn’t fun, so let me do it for you! Assisted stretching helps with pain and recovery, to name a few. (It’s better than a massage!) Boxing and kickboxing to keep things fun and burn some serious calories. 💥🥊 I generally see clients with goals like, losing weight and toning up. Not saying that those are bad goals, I just think the focus in the beginning needs to be shifted a little. Because at the end of the day; I believe everyone just wants to feel better. Pretty simple, less pain, more energy, better sleep and being in an overall better mood, is where I like to focus my attention first. My goal is to design a program that is custom to you, to accomplish that. 🚨 If you’ve made it this far, I appreciate your time. I’m not one to hard sell you on anything! TJ is an amazing trainer. I was nervous and self conscious at first, but TJ has a very calming demeanor. He seems to always know my fitness level and encourages me to work hard towards achieving my goals. TJ is always professional and always has a positive attitude. TJ is very professional and extremely qualified. His extensive knowledge gave me confidence in our training sessions to push myself. Also, his use of kickboxing to add cardio to our workouts is genius. I have so much fun every time we train and could NOT have picked a better personal trainer. Simply the best!!!!

TJ is the only personal fitness trainer that has ever made my workout tailored to my needs including working through injuries and even interacting with my physical therapist to make sure he was helping not hurting progress. He’s also the only trainer I have had that focuses on deep stretching and proper warm up. Workouts will be varied, well-coached and fun! (Try kickboxing with him, it’s a blast!) Highly recommend Gradual Gains Fitness!

My personal trainer is T.J. Wilson, an amiable, engaging young man who listens to your objectives and develops a personal training program to meet your specific needs. T.J’s list of certifications includes: • ACE- Senior Fitness Specialist • NASM- Weight Loss Specialist • NASM- Women’s Fitness Specialist • ACE- Behavior Change Specialist • ACE- Orthopedic Specialist • NASM- Fitness Nutrition Specialist • NASM- Mixed Martial Arts Specialist The first certification, Senior Fitness Specialist, is especially relevant for me. I'm in my 70's, and in fair health. No problem for T.J.! He assessed my capabilities and created a tailored, innovative workout routine. He even gave me a "full body stretch" every two weeks, including a back massage. I recommend T.J. Wilson with a 5-star rating!!

    I would hate to lose the opportunity to work with someone solely on the purpose of money. I’m very flexible and I’m willing to work with your situation.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    Taking the time to get to know each other. Listening to what their specific goals are and trying to give a realistic timeline for those. Positive changes take time, so I want to build a relationship that lasts. Spending the first few weeks easing into the workouts, making sure we’re not overdoing anything. Learning where you’re body is at and building off of that.
