FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Off-Site CPR and First Aid Training from an established American Heart Association Regional Training Center. In-house EMT and Dental Assistant training for those looking for a new career.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Verify credentials - Ask who authorizes them to issue course completion cards. Most employers or credentialing boards (Board of Nursing) will only recognize completion cards from programs like American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC). Most small or new training centers will not disclose this information, thus creating more training that the individual will need. Ask who the Instructors are - How long have they been teaching this material? What kind of training did THEY need to go through in order to become an instructor? Do they have any experience with the material they are teaching? Ask for a reference - A good established training center will be more than happy to oblige. Training centers love to hear that their courses were a success and would love to use that positive "word-of-mouth" to establish more of a customer base. When talking to the reference make sure to ask questions pertaining to not only cost and duration, but also ask questions related to the ease of scheduling, customer service, how well the Instructor relayed the information, and how long did it take to get the cards.
