FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our job rates are $60.00 first hour which includes trouble shooting listing the needed material to complete the job and shopping for those needed products and delivery. I will provide supplies from Home Depot website listing the products needed for the job. After the first hour our hourly rate is $35.00 an hour. If there is a chance it is a two person job we bill a flat rate of $50.00 per hour.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Assure them that I have their best interest in mind! Be on time and when emergences happen COMMUNICATE! Bid fair price with quality. LISTEN to what my customer wants not what I want to do. Give them options being sensitive to their budget. Did I say communicate? Most of my work is in peoples homes this is their dream and their castle. If I can't do the job I will do my best to get them to someone that can.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been remodeling and flipping homes for over 30 years. I served a Missionary origination In Chico Ca for 3 years as Facilities Maintenance Director managing a property with a Hotel built in the 1905 and additional buildings, cottages, offices, worship center and a kitchen feeding 500 plus. My duties also included maintaining water quality and sewer maintenance P-U LOL. All of the above was done on a very tight budget by volunteers from 18 to 80. I am a retired butcher working retail and running my own Locker Plant and Butcher Shop. In my retirement I now run my Handyman business for the past 5 years.
